A dog can be entered in only 1 of the followinge 5 classes and must be intact (not neutered or spayed). For each sex there are the following classes, with males judged first and then bitches in each class:

1. Puppy- 6 months to < 12 months the day of the show.
2. Junior- 1 year to < 2 years.
3. Senior- 2 years to < 3 years.
4. Adult- 3 years and older.
5. Breeder Handler- 6 months and older, handled by breeder or member of the immediate family.

Best Male is then chosen from among the winners of the male classes, and Best Female is chosen from the winners of the female classes. Reserve Best Male and Reserve Best Female are also chosen.  The Best Male and Best Female then compete for Best of Winners.

Additional classes:

Champion of Champions - for dogs who have earned their Champion title.
Grand Champion - for dogs that have earned the Grand Champion title.
Best of Breed - chosen from the winners of Best of Winners, Champion of Champions, and Grand Champion competition.

Novice (3 to < 6 months) Male Puppy
Novice (3 to < 6 months) Female Puppy

The above classes will also be offered at the other U.K.C. shows.  During the Specialty on Friday we will additionally be offering the following non-licensed classes:

Best Puppy (chosen from the winners of the two 3 to < 6 months classes)
Stud Dog (minimum of 2 get, maximum of 4 get present)
Brood Bitch (minimum of 2 produce, maximum of 4 produce present)
Brace
Veteran Male ( 7 years or older, may be spayed or neutered)  - Note: classes for spayed/neutered dogs!
Veteran Female ( 7 years or older, may be spayed or neutered)      Note: classes for spayed/neutered dogs!
Best Altered Male- 6 months to 7 years old          Note: classes for spayed/neutered dogs!
Best Altered Female- 6 months to 7 years old      Note: classes for spayed/neutered dogs!
Best Altered Male and Best Altered Female compete against one another for Best of Breed Altered
Parade of Titleholders - must have earned at least one title from any organization
 
 

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP

Pee-Wee (2 years of age to < 4years)
Sub-Junior (4 years of age to < 8 years)
Junior (8years of age to < 13 years)
Senior (13 years through 17 years)
Best Junior Handler from winners of Junior and Senior classes.
 
 
Specialty fees:
Pre-Entry $20, $10 second entry of same dog, received by June 27
Day of Show Entry $30; Junior Showmanship $15; Non Licensed Classes $15.
